Im fundraising for the Uyghur people, because no one deserves the horrendous atrocities which they have endured. Over 2 million Uyghur Muslims are being held in re-education camps concentration camps in China, where they are tortured, raped and forced to denounce Islam. Its heart-breaking.I am happy to say that over 67,000 Uyghur refugees have managed to flee the genocide in China, and are now living in Turkey. However, being a refugee is not easy for anyone. The Uyghur have escaped the emergency, but they are still struggling to cope in a new country, where the winter is bitter, the language is different and the work opportunities are few. Im encouraging people to donate to Penny Appeal, so that they can help these Uyghur refugees to get back on their feet. Just £50 could provide a Uyghur refugee family with enough food for an entire month. Your support would mean so much to our Uyghur brothers and sisters and to me. Thank you
