I have taken up the challenge to do 20 Surya Namaskars rounds per day from 23 July to 22 August, to raise funds for The Mukti Project, a charity very close to my heart.

MUKTI supports two childrens homes in India: Karm Marg (meaning The Way of Action) and Naz as well as homeless people in the UK. We have been supporting these homes for nearly two decades because the work they are doing is amazing and needs to be supported. Karm Marg is a home for street-children and Naz is the only home for HIV Positive children in India.Our big fund-raiser this year is asking you to take up the MUKTI Sun Salutations Challenge:A month of Sun Salutations!Get your friends and family to sponsor you to complete a chosen number of Sun Salutations each day or each week from 23rd July to 22nd August. During this period the Sun ~ according to the Tropical system* ~ will be in the astrological sign of Leo, its home. A great time to pay our Sun homage and, as we make ourselves fitter and more mobile, raise funds for ~ and awareness of ~ the kids homes.
