I would so appreciate your help raising funds for La Casa Norte in their efforts to provide youth experiencing homelessness, or at-risk thereof, with stable housing in Chicago. 

My years in Chicago shaped a wide-eyed young man straight out of college into the man I am today. It molded my character as it brought countless hard lessons alongside fond memories. I hope to give something of myself back in homage -- both to support those in Chicago that need it most, and to give every ounce of my physical and mental abilities to its marathon, with the aim of qualifying for Boston.

I chose La Casa Norte specifically, having witnessed firsthand how meaningful -- and oft-overlooked -- the work done to support youth experiencing homelessness is through my mother's many years working at a similar non-profit in Omaha.

La Casa Norte has helped more than 30,000 individuals across Chicago since opening its doors in 2002, and remains one of the largest housing and support services for youth and families experiencing homelessness in Chicago.
