Inspired by Colonel Tom, my father is going to “keep walking” and walk the terrace of Star & Garter House where his flat is.

As a Parkinson’s sufferer, my father, William, finds walking very difficult and always needs a walker, so this will be a challenge! During this 2nd lockdown and with the gym closed we have had to come up with a new project to keep him moving and his muscles working. Therefore, he will be doing 3 laps a day of the terrace pictured above, for the duration of this lockdown, however long it may last!!  As it is a very short walk (well under half a mile) we do not want people to donate any large amounts of money!  We thought a cap of £20 would be about right! He is a patron of Integrated Neurological Services, a local charity and so any donations will be very gratefully received.

Many thanks, the Wells family
