HENRY WINDOW SWIMS THE CHANNEL · 7 March 2021

Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Henry  was diagnosed with a mild form of epilepsy after suffering his first seizure in December and needing a 5 day stay in hospital at aged 7. He is a keen swimmer and a member of a local swim team, The Shape Seal’s. Despite his set back he has not allowed his new limitations to hold him back from the sport he loves. He has decided he wants to swim the English Channel. He has recently turned 8 and has now decided he wants to do some swimming for charity. Inspired by David Walliams Swimming the Channel and watching Adam Peaty on TV. Over the month of May this year Henry will attempt to swim the equivalent of the English Channel in a local pool.
