We provide specialist care to children with life-limiting illness

Story

In 2004, when my father succumbed to a fifteen year battle against cancer, I decided to fundraise for different cancer charities and in the first year raised £6000 for McMillan Cancer Care.

Since then, the total has risen to £117, 494.20. Charities to benefit include Friends of the Cancer Centre, Action Cancer, Clic Sergeant, Mencap, Sense for Deaf and Blind Children and NI Children's Hospice,

On 26th November, I am hosting a formal Christmas Dinner at the Europa Hotel and hoping to raise as much money as possible. The beneficiary will be NI Children's Hospice.

Each year the Children's Hospice cares for over 300 children and provides support to their families. These children are not expected to reach adulthood and require specialist care 24/7. With limited government funding, they rely on public support to fund this much needed specialist care.

If I ask you to donate £5 to this Justgiving page, I can't guarantee that you and your family will never have to use the facility at Northern Ireland Children's Hospice. However,  if you do donate £5, I can guarantee you and your family that you would have the best facility available for children with cancer. This can only happen with your help. CARE IS AT THE HEART OF EVERTHING THEY  DO.

I realise that you may have already committed to attending this function, but for those of you who cannot make it to the event, your benevolence would be much appreciated here.

Thank you.

Henry (Harry) Armstrong

PS. If you're reading this Brendan Rodgers, I know your support for the Hospice is much appreciated. If you're available, you are invited to attend the event on November 26th at the Europa Hotel, Belfast.
