Between 11th and 19th October 2008 I did a sponsored trek along some lengths of the Great Wall of China near to Beijing ( Mutianyu, Gubeikou, Jinshanling and Simatai. ) to raise money for CSW, a charity which my wife, Ros, and I have supported for a number of years. Although the total length of the trek ( 60 k ) was not great the terrain was quite steep and mountainous with some precipitous drops, so it was quite challenging ! I am pleased to say that all of our group completed the trek without major injuries.

Ros has been working hard to arrange sponsorship on my behalf and as of the end of September has raised £ 3925. We are hoping to raise a further £ 1000 through this Just Giving page. Please note that we have paid for the cost of the trip ourselves so all of the money raised will go directly to charity.
