Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraiser!
This year, I’m taking on the challenge of the Raptör multi-day bike ride for the second time, raising money for Action Medical Research, and I’d love to have your support once again!
For over 70 years, Action has been at the forefront of funding life-saving research for sick and disabled babies, children, and young people. Their groundbreaking work has helped beat polio, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths, and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy. Today, they’re driving forward research to tackle rare diseases and reduce premature birth.
This year’s ride will cover 291 miles with 8,526 feet of ascent—a real challenge, but one that’s more than worth it when you consider the incredible impact Action Medical Research continues to have. As I cycle from north Sussex to Roubaix, passing through Dover, Dunkirk, Ypres, and Ghent, I’ll be thinking about all the children and families that are benefiting from the groundbreaking work funded by Action.
I did this ride last year and knowing that my effort was helping fund research that will make a real difference is what kept me going, and I’m excited to be doing it again. With your donations, we can fund even more vital research to help children facing life-changing conditions.
Thank you so much for your continued support!
