Well...after the Manchester Marathon got cancelled, I felt guilty for not taking part in any sort of challenge after raising all this money... 

So, myself and a few other friends and family members are taking part in the Coast to Coast bike challenge from Whitehaven to Tynemouth instead! We set off on 18th September, and given the fact I've only recently sourced a bike, I'm expecting a tough couple of days...

But anyway, I'm sure it'll be fine...!

We'll be doing the ride in memory of my wonderful uncle Ashley Winter, who sadly died from Pancreatic Cancer in 2018. On 18th April, I have no doubt that Ash's endless courage and unfathomable spirit will inspire me to keep on pushing when I inevitably 'hit the wall' on mile 2.

St. Oswalds Hospice in Gosforth provided invaluable support for Ash and our family during his final few weeks, so I'd like to raise as much money as possible for them so they can continue to provide exceptional care for other families across the North East.
