Bliss champions quality family-centred care for premature babies. On World Prematurity Day we need your support to ensure vulnerable babies receive the care they deserve.

Story

Our Son, William was born on Tuesday 15th November, and due to a slightly troublesome start to life, he's had a few difficulties, and is being cared for round the clock by the incredible staff in the Special Care Baby Unit at Hereford County Hospital.

Today, the SCBU are fund raising for World Prematurity Day. Since we've been here, we've met some amazing people who care for lots of prematurely born babies and give them and their parents the most incredible support and care.

For us, even though William was not premature, the care they've given has been second to none. Nothing has been too much trouble and they've been amazing at keeping us informed and discussing the next steps. Without this care, this whole experience could very easily have become a nightmare.

So, we're sat in the SCBU, with William, and I thought it was only right that we try and raise some funds in their name, for the charity they are supporting today.
