Play Action International is taking a team of volunteers out to Uganda in summer 2022 to assist with transforming an empty field at a local school into an exciting new, safe and colourful playground! This important work will create a legacy for children to learn and develop essential life skills as well as nurture their physical, psychological and social development through the language they know best - Play!

Uganda's borders encompass Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake by surface area, and to fund my participation in this venture, I will be running the equivalent of the width of the lake, 337km, between January and May, by when I need to be fully funded.

I am by no means a runner so will need to push myself to achieve this. With your encouragement, I am sure I can do it. Thank you!
