The staff of Herts & Essex Fertility Centre is raising money for PROGRESS EDUCATIONAL TRUST (PET) by walking/running/cycling/climbing 907km from Cheshunt to Copenhagen where ESHRE would have taken place this year.

Egg freezing is the fastest-growing reproductive technology in
the UK yet its potential to empower women to choose when is the right time for them to have children is currently hampered by an outdated and unscientific law which means eggs can only remain frozen for 10 years before being destroyed.

PET is a charity that works to improve the choices for people affected by infertility and genetic conditions and promotes the responsible application of science. They challenge the hype around scientific developments to ensure people are better informed about what assisted conception can offer them so they have access to appropriate medical treatment.
