Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Many of you will know that Diabetes UK has become a charity close to our hearts, since Annie’s sudden and scary diagnosis at the end of last year. What you may not know is that since then, Albert has tested positive for antibodies which are destroying his pancreas cells, and which will lead to him developing type 1 diabetes at some point in the fairly near future.

Before December 2018, we had no idea of the impact of this disease on daily life, or the  dangers that sufferers are at risk of, both in the short and long term.

Imogen, Albert and I are taking part in this exciting event in order to raise funds for Diabetes UK, to support their vision of a world where Diabetes can do no harm. If anyone would like to sponsor us, we would be really grateful ❤️
