The HEX team of Hex Piercing Ltd, Blackburn are going vegan for the entire month of January! 
This is a personal challenge for Clare, Connor & Lauren and something we are doing in the memory of Clare's mum who sadly passed away from lung cancer last year. She was a friend to all animals but extremely passionate about birds and the work that places like Greenmount do.
We have been visiting Greenmount Wild Bird Hospital for many years, getting help and advice for injured birds. They desperately need funding to buy new heated cages for the hospital are and rebuild aviaries and pathways. 
Clare also rescues and rehabilitates wild birds and the whole of the Hex team spent a month earning a poorly pigeon's trust at the front of the studio in order to catch her and help. Greenmount then took her for rehab and release. (Amongst many others!)
