Hi all,
As many of you know, on 22nd April I am running the London Marathon for MPN Voice. MPN voice is an excellent cause which aims to provide support for those diagnosed with myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN). With only around 520 people diagnosed in the UK each year, this group of rare blood cancers rarely receives support or funding, making the work of MPN Voice invaluable.
Whilst the prospect of running a marathon now seems far less of a good idea than it did at the time of signing up, MPN Voice is a charity who has offered a wealth of support to one of our closest family friends since her diagnosis. With her offering so much support and guidance to me over the years, I hope to raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile cause as I struggle through the 26.2 miles!
