THEY DID IT - SMASHED THE WORLD RECORD! GREAT EFFORT GUYS!
THE FUND-RAISING IS GOING REALLY WELL TOO! WE STILL HAVE LOTS OF PROMISES TO ADD TO THE SITE SO KEEP LOOKING - WE THINK WE CAN SMASH THIS TARGET TOO!
On July 17th we will try to break the World Record for 24 hours of indoor rowing on a Concept2 indoor rowing machine. The current World Record is 209 miles. We will take it in turns to row for a consecutive 24 hour period.
At the same time as trying to break the record we will also be trying to raise £7,000 to help the Herriot Hospice homecare team set up a new overnight service to provide night time support for people caring for those at the end of their lives. A good night’s sleep is always important but never more so than when a carer is looking after a loved one at home – 24 hours a day. have a good chance of breaking the record and of raising the £7,000 target. The team at Steven Dresser Electrical Contractors have given us a great head start by making a generous donation of £1,000 but we really need your help - so thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Herriot Hospice Homecare and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.
Thanks so much for your help - we're really grateful
