This is the second year we've entered a Helping Hands Essex team - this year 19 of us! - hence the big target which we are aiming to better. HHE is a wonderful local rehab supporting residents and non residents in their early days free from alcohol. Not publicly funded, they're adding to their funding sources at a time when charities are expected to do more and more, and competition for grants is ever-increasing. We've seen first hand how clients begin to turn their lives around - to "stay sober and live life",  benefiting the individual, family and friends and the wider community.
