HHS Boys Soccer Run for the Dana Farber/Brigham & Women's Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital · 29 September 2021

South Shore Health is a not-for-profit, charitable health system offering primary and specialty care, hospital care, home health and community care, emergency and urgent care, and preventative and wellness services. We are the largest independent health system in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Story

Hingham High School soccer players no longer need to complete a two-mile run for tryouts, but the Freshman, JV, and Varsity boys' soccer teams will run one final two-mile to raise money for breast cancer research and support services. The money we raise will go to the Dana Farber/Brigham & Women's Cancer Center in clinical affiliation with South Shore Hospital. The two-mile will happen on Saturday, October 23rd at 10am. Players will be encouraged to run in costume to make their run more festive!

We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, and the money we raise will go directly to help those fighting the disease in our community and throughout the South Shore. All proceeds will go directly to South Shore Hospital.

Our program raised over $5,000 last year, and we would love to meet-- or even beat-- last year's totals. Pledging $10 per mile for each player would help us reach our goal. Please donate if you can; any amount helps. Thanks in advance for your support!
