Each year we have around 1,000 animals brought into our care. Therefore, we are setting a target of 1,000 miles to be walked by our centre dogs during October in recognition of the number of animals we help.

To hit our target our staff and volunteers will need to walk 30 dogs – just over a mile every day throughout October.

We will record all the walks that the dogs take in October and add up the miles covered.

We'll keep you updated with our paw-o-meter as we hit key mile stones along the way.

Our target is to raise £1000, that is £1 for every mile walked!
