Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have worked for The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) since 2011 and seen the fantastic work the charity does to support serving personnel, veterans and their families.

Together with some of my amazing volunteers I am taking part in The RNRMC Normandy Trek, taking in places of significance in World War II.  Compared to some of the super fit supporters who fundraise for RNRMC by climbing mountains or competing in Iron Man competitions, my challenge might not seem so great, but for me, trekking 50 miles over 4 days over a varied terrain, will be a real test of my fitness.  I will have just passed my 50th birthday and hope that my training will help me be "fit at 50" instead of "fat at 50".

RNRMC are proud to support a wide variety of projects that support war veterans and it will be an honour to visit Normandy to pay my respects to those who fought for our freedom.
