In memory of Emma Warden
We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Did you know that brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40?  Did you know that only 2% of the £500m spent on cancer research in the UK is spent on brain tumours?  No?  Well neither did I until our daughter Emma was diagnosed with a high grade brain tumour in September 2014.

Emma underwent brain surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy but she tragically lost her battle with her brain tumour just 3 days before her 30th birthday.

She has been an inspiration to many as she faced each set back with positivity, never moaning and always eager to get back to work and just be a normal twenty-something young woman.  She was robbed of the chance to progress in her career and of her wish to one day, become a mother.

It has been a painful journey watching Emma deteriorate and the thought that there will be others being diagnosed and following the same path fills me with sorrow.  Therefore we would like to raise funds for further research in memory of Emma and hope that one day a cure will be found.
