Story

What are the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement doing in Palestine?

In response to the ongoing crisis, we have launched this appeal to help people affected by violence in Gaza, the West Bank including East Jerusalem, and Israel. Staff and volunteers of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement are working round the clock often in dangerous conditions to alleviate suffering, save lives and provide vital aid. The appeal will help provide medical and humanitarian assistance. The situation is critical and your support is greatly appreciated.

They are looking at meeting emergency needs like surgeries, water and energy repairs. A priority is to bring in extra medical supplies to support an already-fragile health system hit hard by Covid-19.

How are we fundraising?

We are a group of 10 young people, who over the next 3 days (8th-10th June), to fundraise for Palestine, will be running/walking/cycling 210 miles together, which is roughly 7 miles each every day!
