Next month I will be joining Muslim Hands on their annual climb of Mount Snowdon to help raise funds for food and medical care in Gaza.

Gaza was in dire need even before the latest crisis and the recent escalation is causing devastation on a scale not seen since the assault on Gaza in 2014.

Decades of instability have left families on the Gaza strip and the West Bank unable to enjoy the most basic of human rights such as access to food, water and medical treatment. 60% of Gazans suffer from food insecurity and half of its children are dependent on humanitarian assistance. There is also a critical shortage of medical supplies, whilst the number of people being killed and wounded, including children are increasing daily.
