After months of preparation Siya (Age 12), Maya (Age 15) and Lax, having reached many peaks in the UK over this duration (Snowdon, Scafell Pike, Helvellyn, Mam Tor, Brecon Beacons) and trained at many locations in Chiltern Hills, Surrey Hills and locally, are now ready for our ultimate challenge, we are climbing Kilimanjaro in August. It's going to be a 7 Day trek on the Lemosho route. We'll Start the climb on Saturday, 30th July from Londorossi gate (2360 meters above sea level), climb for 5 days. Late night on Wednesday, 3rd August (5th day) we will be setting off for Uhuru Peak (5895 meters above sea level). The last couple of days are expected to be the most challenging and we truly hope our bodies will cope well with the high altitude. We hope to cherish out time at the peak and capture some treasured memories at the roof of Africa. We'll then make our way down over that and the next day and expect to be down late afternoon on 5th August.

We are raising funds for SKLPC (UK Charity Number is: 1001623). The funds will be used to build a much needed new community centre and will serve generations over many years to come. Please help us raise funds to make this a reality. This is a self funded trip and hence all funds raised will wholly go towards this project (minus the JustGiving platform fees).
