North Vietnam Trek · 3 February 2006
Dear Friends
Between the 12th and 21st April 2006, I will be undertaking my first trekking challenge through a remote area of North Vietnam to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s society. Dementia care and research are the main objectives of the society.
I have paid £299 towards the cost of the trip and have been training for several months to get fit, as I will be trekking for several days over rough terrain.
I am doing this trek with my father, Hemendra Mistry, President of Shree Prajapati Association Leicester. Our aim is to raise in excess of £6000 in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. My father has previously done treks in the Amazon Rain Forest of Ecuador in 2000, Great Wall of China in 2002 and Inca Trail in Peru in 2003, all for charity. He has raised in excess of £12000 for charity with the help of friends, family his employer, various organisations and generous donors.
I have to raise 80% of the funds by 15th February 2006. I hope you can help by contributing towards the funds I want to raise for the Alzheimer’s Society. I would appreciate if you could give generously.
Thank you,
Hiran Mistry
