With their permission, we are gathering a team of runners to raise money for Colchester Hospital children's ward in memory of Scott & Becky's son and Ollie's brother - Finley Andrew Rogers. We want to get as many people involved as possible, either running or cheerleading the team on the day and raise as much money as possible for one of the departments that helped the family out so much at a very difficult time. 

In January 2022 Finley was diagnosed with a rare type of Leukemia - T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic. He was given intense courses of chemotherapy which were pretty harrowing. He fought on and in the summer even went into remission. Sadly though the cancer came back and on the 19th October 2022 Finely died surrounded by his loving family at home. 

Finley was such a special, lovable and happy go lucky little boy, cheeky and mischievous with a real sense of fun. He carried on having a glint in his eye even throughout the intense treatments he was having to endure.

Colchester Hospital Children's ward helped out so much when the family were there - the play team were welcoming and distracted Finley throughout treatment. They were a source of comfort for the family.
The care received from the specialist nurses and the nurses on the ward were second to none. At Christmas Scott, Becky & Ollie took Finley's Halloween and Christmas presents to donate to the children on the ward.

We would like to recognise the charity by raising as much money for them as possible with this run. Please dig deep - every penny will be matched by the Hiscox Foundation at the end of the year!
