THE HITCHIKERS GUIDE TO THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE

THIS EVENT RAISED MONEY FOR THE NSPCC!

On the 6th of March 2009 at 07:30hrs 4 teams, working in pairs, left HMYOI Portland to get around as many Football League stadiums (Premier League, Championship, League One & League Two) as possible until 19:00hrs on the 9th of March 2009.

Easy?

We only had £30 of our own money in our pockets and NO means of transport arranged!

To make it that little bit harder we had no accommodation!! So this also needed to be blagged!

As I have said there was four teams running around to try and get to as many places as possible!! As a whole we managed to visit 49 out of the 92 league clubs in the 4 days.

We will also obtained merchandise from other clubs which is presently being sold off. Anything remaining will be used as raffle prizes for the Prison Charity Match in August 2009.

We had to get a photo of both of us at each ground to prove that we got there!!!

The event was also feautred on Wessex FM and in the Dorset Echo with regular updates via both medias.
