We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Jack Chester joined The Campion School sixth form in September 2007. Six months after he joined the school, he was diagnosed with cancer. Whilst having treatment, he continued with his studies and was an inspiration to the other members of the sixth form and the school. He was also a leading ambassador for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Jack died in September 2010.

Last year a group of 180 people walked from The Campion School to University College Hospital, London and raised the fantastic sum of £22,294 for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Well done everyone!

On Saturday, 5 May we will be Hitting the RoadJack again and, this year there are three walking distances on offer:

A half marathon (13 miles) either starting from the school and finishing at Stratford or starting from Stratford and finishing at St Thomas’ Hospital, London.

A 21 mile route starting from the school and finishing at St Thomas’ Hospital, London.

A full marathon (26 miles), which includes an additional loop that takes in some of London’s finest landmarks!
