RowRunner 2022
Campaign by Brathay Trust (RCN 1021586)
A Windermere 3 peaks challenge combining rowing and running. Teams of 8 will row 20 miles on England's largest lake and run up the fells overlooking the lake...all to support disadvantaged children and young people.

Story

We will be participating in the 2022 Rowrunner on the 9th July 2022 on behalf of BAE Systems.

Rowrunner involves us:

  • rowing two lengths of Lake Windermere (totalling 20.4 miles)
  • fell running the peaks of Latterbarrow, Gummers How and Wansfell (covering a total running distance of 10.8 miles & an ascent of 1,945 feet)

We are doing this to raise money for the Brathay Trust who support disadvantaged children and young people.

We work with a wide range of young people, often with fewer opportunities in life, including those managing the transition from living in care to independence, at risk of exploitation in unhealthy relationships, needing confidence to find work or training, or facing other challenges in their lives.
