RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

On Saturday 3rd it was the Portrush Raft Race 2022 and we 6 merry men decided to compete. With the help of our design and build operation (Boyd-Warwick) the HMS Blump set sail. After an unfortunate start (involving some weary partygoers) we picked up the pace and started to compete. The winners were far beyond reach but the middle mob were fighting for pride. We fought the good fight for just under 15 minutes and raced into the harbour with paddles raised victoriously. It was exhilarating and exhausting. Our Captain’s 40th was marked as a success and the RNLI became the true focus. Their work at sea is invaluable and we hope you, along with us, will support their service with a little donation. Money raised will be going directly to Portrush RNLI. Thanks to all. Next year, the win!
