WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

The Raft Race is an annual event organised by Thames Water to raise money for WaterAid, which took a break last year, but it is back and this time it's super-powered! Yes, you've guessed it, our 2021 theme is superheroes - whether they're flying in from the pages of a comic book or one of our own Thames Water keyworker heroes.

We are raising money for WaterAid because clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.

Contact raftrace@thameswater.co.uk to get an entry pack, assemble your squad of 6, and get ready to create your most heroic raft and costumes yet! The fun starts on Thursday, 23 September 2021, 4pm at Reading Rowing Club.
