Starting at the Greater Manchester Marathon on the 10th of April, which is obviously the standard 26.2 miles, I will then carry on running... oh yeah, and as Frodo.

The plan is simple: find as many places as I can (and all on foot) that resemble the Middle Earth world from Lord of the Rings in some way. There will be a ring to destroy, a trip on the Buckleberry ferry to Holland, elves and other big folk to meet up with, and as there's no official route I'll be following or end destination, I will also be welcoming any advice from the public on route.
