I’ve committed to running the TCS London Marathon for every much-loved baby sadly not here today.

I am running the London Marathon in memory of my little sister Summer who is sadly no longer with us. Losing Summer left a hole in me and my families hearts that never truly disappeared. We still carry her in our hearts, and we always will. I often think about the memories we never got to make together, the milestones she never got to reach, the person she would’ve grown into and the sister I never had the chance to grow up with.

Running this Marathon I know she will be behind me every step of the way and carry me through to that finish line. Everything I am doing is for her and to honour her memory.

I have chosen the charity Sands because they ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. They campaign for change, provide training for midwives and healthcare professionals, and support research.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Sands continue supporting families and funding life-changing research.
