Laura Dawn James was someone I could proudly call a friend. She was amazing. Laura died early October 2018 from Glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer. She was beautiful and such a great role model.

I want the world to know who she was, and although this earth can be so painfully cruel, everyone deserves to know the light she has brought in it. How the smile she painted across  your face was one that made the sun jealous, because she outshone it. She beamed rays of hope; her disposition overshadowed any negativity within miles. Somehow, in the midst of such darkness and pain in her life, she never let that stop her from making someone else smile. Her soul was the epitome of beauty. I feel like i could talk about her forever but now isn't the time.

I want to do this for her, this is the least she deserves. I want to raise money for research to prevent this happening to more people.
