Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page!

I am taking part in the Glasgow Women's 10k and hope to raise a bit of cash for Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital in the process.

Having not done any proper running for about three years, this feels to me as big a challenge as the marathon! Any support you can give, no matter how small will be very welcomed and will help keep me going on race day.

It's been so fantastic rediscovering my love of running, I kick myself for having left it so long! However I have this great event to look forward to and an opportunity to raise some cash for a brilliant cause.

Edinburgh Sick Kids is such a fantastic charity, the hospital and it's staff do brilliant things. We've had a couple of visits there over the past two years with minor accidents and I cannot tell you how wonderful the staff are at treating tots and comforting traumatised parents!

If you would like to support the charity, and me on my run, then please donate here. JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe and they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you so much! xxx
