Working for The Myton Hospices I see first hand the incredible care, compassion and support that Myton provides for people and their families when they are going through the toughest times imaginable. The difference this makes to those people is huge, making the most difficult times that little bit more manageable, giving people more quality time with their loved ones and helping to allay some of people’s biggest fears. Myton is a place full of love, laughter and of course some tears, and I am amazed by the strength of the doctors, nurses, support staff, volunteers, patients and families every day. All of the services are provided free of charge and less than 20% of funding comes from the NHS. Myton has to raise £8.8 million every year and relies on the generosity and support of people like you! We want to raise awareness and funds so that even more people can access Myton’s services when they need us most.
