Story

Hello,

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for this charity as one of my friends was diagnosed with this condition a few years ago. Despite going through treatment during the Covid pandemic she has continued to work and to help others throughout this time. Her resilience and positive attitude to life is truly inspiring!

As far as swimming the channel goes, I have spent a lot of the last ten years swimming in the sea with Eastbourne Sea Swimmers to the point where it has become my second home. I love the sense of freedom, adventure and tranquility that swimming in the sea provides. When my Uncle suggested that I should swim the channel a few years ago, my first response was 'that's a very long way, have you got the right woman?' However after thinking about it my opinion quickly changed to 'why not? What a cool adventure!'
