I will be running the London Marathon 2016 on behalf of Lady McAdden Breast Screening Trust. The charity provide high quality services for the early detection of breast cancer for women of ALL ages and provide advice and support for those affected by the disease. Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in women in the UK – 31% of cancers diagnosed in women are breast cancer. 1 in 8 women in the UK will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lifetime. 

Thanks to this charity a very a good friend Kim Smith got the early diagnosis that she needed that meant she received treatment that allowed her to beat the disease. More women than ever are surviving breast cancer thanks to better screening and better treatments.
