I have decided to partake in the Dorothy House Hero Walk by walking a marathon along the Jurassic Coast with my mum this September.

I am doing this walk in memory of my Grandma who passed away February 2019. As one of the most incredible women I have ever known, she truly was my hero so I dedicate this walk to her.

Dorothy house were so helpful towards the end of my Grandmas life, providng palliative care and enabling her to peacefully spend her last days at home. They were also incredibly helpful with bearevement support and helping my Mum through an extremely difficult time, and allowing her to now have reached a place of acceptance. They have been amazing support to my family over the last year and a half and I would love to give back. 

Unfortunately, almost all of us know somebody that has had or has cancer and may need the support of Dorothy House. If you would like to sponser my 26 mile walk, any donations would be very gratefully recieved and be of great help for any families who find themselves in a situation similar to what mine did.
