East Anglian Air Ambulance exists to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air or car to seriously ill or injured people in the region.

Story

This weekend I will be taking part in ‘Chariots of Fire’ this is one of Cambridgeshires largest annual charity events… myself and five family members will be taking part in a team of 6 relay course each participating 1.7miles 🏃🏼‍♀️ 

The charity we have chosen to donate to is ‘East Anglian Air Ambulance’ this exists to save lives by delivering highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air or car to seriously ill or injured people in the region.

Chariots of Fire is organised and managed by Hewitsons Charitable Trust.

Our project is for EAAA to provide bystander CPR training to lower income communities across Cambridgeshire.

East Anglian Air Ambulance is a 24/7 helicopter emergency medical service covering Beds, Cambs, Norfolk and Suffolk. EAAA doesn't receive regular government funding, each mission costs on average £3,750 and we need to raise £19m a year from charitable donations to continue our lifesaving service.
