It's here again - the Jukebox Challenge rises again for 2018!

The idea is simple: Every day between 1st - 25th December, I'm performing, filming and uploading a different song request to YouTube, in exchange for donations to York Mind. I'm hoping to raise £500 this year (if I can!)

(Please note that I can only do one song upload per day, and all of the available song slots have been allocated during October and November. I am not taking further song requests for this year).

Why am I doing this? Lots of reasons:

1. Winter is tough for lots of us. It's even tougher for those experiencing mental ill-health.

By raising funds for York Mind, I simply want to do my own little bit, to help create a few moments of hope for the people supported by this amazing local mental health charity. If we all do our own little bit, we can really make a huge difference.

2. I love a daft challenge.

If the last 2 years are anything to go by, it'll be super-difficult! (I'll likely be filling the weeks leading up to Christmas swearing into the camcorder)

3. Rather selfishly, it's an absolute TON of FUN to do.

Well, I know not everyone would define fun as 'learning songs at the request of other people and sitting down to record them night after night whilst working full time and trying to do a bit of Christmas as well' but you know, we all get our kicks somewhere.

A different song will be uploaded every day between 1st - 25th December. Trust me - 2018 is the year of feel-good requests so watch out :)

If you like what I'm doing and you're enjoying my videos, please do make a donation and help me reach my fundraising target. It's particularly good to remind myself of why I'm doing this, when I have a day when the song is particularly difficult and I want to give up.

Peace, love and all the songs,

H x
