Holly’s 100 night camp out · 21 April 2020

The mission of Nelson’s Journey is to increase the self-esteem, self-belief and wellbeing of bereaved children in Norfolk, by enabling families and wider society to talk openly about death and bereavement, and for children to express and understand emotions.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page, this is my story:

What started out as a bit off fun and a challenge set by my scout leaders to sleep in my tent for as long as I can 25 nights in I’ve decided to aim for a goal of 100 and put it towards a good cause. Nelsons journey has helped me so much since the sudden passing off my dad when he was 49 in January of 2019. I was only 12 and felt so lost. But since having support I’ve realised I’m not alone and others feel the same. This is a very difficult time for them as they are not getting the fundraising they need so I thought even if it’s just a tiny bit, I could try and do my bit. So please donate what you can, every pound helps.
