QUEEN ANNE HIGH SCHOOL IS FUNDRAISING FOR HAPPY PAWS IN HONOUR OF HOLLY!
We are so excited to let you know about a wonderful fundraising effort that has been launched by Queen Anne High School in celebration of the incredible journey of one of our rescues, beautiful Holly.
.
Holly was rescued in Turkey during lockdown and after three weeks at our rescue centre recovering from her injuries, she spent time in foster care. In September she then made the amazing 2,300 mile journey by road to Dunfermline, Scotland, where she met her wonderful new family and new furry sibling Ozzie.
.
Ozzie is a Queen Anne High Schools Therapy Dog within Pupil Support and Holly has now started training with Fife Dog Training. In time it's hoped she will become the newest staff member and a new Therapy Dog within Nurture at Queen Anne.
The wonderful students of Queen Anne High School are now fundraising for Happy Paws Puppy Rescue to help fund other dogs in Turkey needing new homes here in the UK.
They have organised ‘Hollys Journey’, a virtual walk from Istanbul to Dunfermline, which is a total of 2,300 miles!
Pupils and staff are walking over the month of November with one lap of the school being one virtual mile. If you would like to support the students in this amazing effort, please copy and paste this link:

We are so grateful to Holly's family, the students and staff at Queen Anne High School and everyone involved. You are all amazing!
