My name is holly Rowe, im 20 years old and im trying to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice because they have helped so many people, including my family.

just under 2years ago now, my granddad got diagnosed with pancreatitis cancer and liver cancer. He got told he had 6months left but unfortunately he only made it to 3 months. Thanks to the lovely nurses at St Nicholas, they helped my granddad. my granddad was my world, he meant everything to me.  When the nurses came they helped my nan with so many things such as, changed the bed sheets, washed him, gave him medication and many more things. 

My nan did not have the strength for many things, so when she could help him it would make her very tired so they sent out some nurses that would sit with my granddad whilst my nan could get some sleep.

my nan and granddad were together for 50 years and married for 49, they had 2 children and have 5 grandchildren. they were best friends and loved each other so much.

St Nicholas hospice, helps people that are suffering, they support the family's too. my nan still goes to support groups, they can do all sorts of things, they can offer support groups and a big range of activities for the family's.

I wanted to say thank you to St Nicholas hospice for helping my family through the difficult times and is still helping. So i wanted to give back, so i decided to raise money by shaving all my hair off, i love my hair, but the thought of helping them liked they helped the family is great. 

So thank you to everyone for donating money and thank you for taking the time to read this, it means a lot.
