Holybourne Ladies Walk · 6 March 2010

Andrews' Endowed is Fund raising for - Digital Learning Facilities - Outdoor Play Space - Upgrading the Classrooms. This is the School's 300th anniversary of being founded by a local Benefactor, Thomas Andrews.

Story

We are a group consisting of both Holybourne villagers and Andrews' Endowed School mums.  On 6 March we all completed a sponsored walk to raise money for the construction of two new classrooms at our village school.  We walked two routes: the shorter one from Farnham to the School along the St Swithun's Way (a distance of about 10 miles) or a circuit starting at the School and continuing to Farnham, skirting Crondall, passing through Well, and then returning to the School (a total of 24 miles).

Every one of us finished the course (including the trio of supportive spouses who accompanied us), and both groups were well ahead of schedule.  If you click on the photos you can see images of our day.
