The World Transplant Games is a truly inspirational event which celebrates a second chance of living life to the full, human courage and physical fitness. The Games raise public awareness and acceptance of organ donation, increase donor registrations and encourage donors to share their wishes with their family.

Home Group colleagues will be raising funds for the Graham Wylie Foundation in support of the World Transplant Games 2019 which are being held in Newcastle & Gateshead this August!

Athletes who are also recipients of life saving organ transplants, will compete in various sports across the city for one week. 

We want to ensure the athletes are safe, well looked after, have the right medical attention and insurance needed to compete in such a wonderful event, and want to raise as much money as possible to make this huge event the most successful to date. 

We also want to raise awareness of the Organ Donor Register, as without it, many of the brave athletes would not be here to tell their story.
