Thanks for visiting my page! Please help me in a fundraiser to support Homeboy Industries. Homeboy Industries is the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world. For over 30 years, it has been a beacon of hope in Los Angeles to provide training and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of the community. This non-profit has grown into a global network spreading the message of love and redemption. I've joined a team of co-workers at Warner Bros/UNIDOS to support Homeboy Industries. Not only will I challenge myself by taking a deep dive to learn about the history of mass incarceration in the US and its ties to systemic racism, but I'm going to do a physical challenge to show my support, even during a socially-distanced pandemic. I've committed to do a local hike (big surprise!) that is a grueling 1000' feet of climbing in under a mile. Not only that, I pledge to do this hike TWICE and do it in 130 minutes or less on Sept 19. I could use your support in helping founder Father Greg Boyle and his team. I feel a special link to Father Greg because he mentored me in high school--he taught me creative writing shortly before he left Loyola High to become pastor of the Dolores Mission Church where we went on to found Homeboy Industries.Fight systemic racism by helping others on their road to recovery. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have helped--can you? Just click on the link and pledge your dollars in support of me and the Warner Bros. volunteers to help Homeboy Industries continue its mission. Together, let's bring hope to the world!
