It is an unfortunate but likely scenario nowadays that in your lifetime at least one person you care about will be affected by cancer. Having said that, coming to terms with cancer means more than just dealing with the clinical side.

Having been down to the centre in Manchester many times I can tell you Maggie's Centres across the UK are welcoming safe havens. They offer psychological and emotional support to those lives changed by cancer as well as their family and friends.

Maggie's in Manchester is based in the grounds of the Christie Hospital and helps to support tens of thousands of people across Greater Manchester every year.

As continuing proud supporters of Maggie's Manchester, this year we are undertaking FOUR fundraising events across 2019 (one more than last year!). We have our goal set on raising another £2500, roughly the cost to run the centre for an entire day.

3. Rough Runner North West 5km - 16th June
4. Maggie's Culture Crawl - 27th September
