This year has been tough for all of us but especially those who suffer with cancer. Having lost some close family and friends who struggled and ultimately lost their fight it has raised my awareness of this terrible disease and given me an urge to raise money for cancer research. 

I would like to raise as much money in the memory of my fathers cousin and best friend Nick Whyte, his racing companion and mentor of my own racing career Jeffrey Bowles, my mothers close friend Siobhain Arundel and my grandmothers twin sister Heather Mackintosh who passed away only last week.

This is a cause that is extremely important to millions of people around the world and very close to my heart. 

To encourage people to donate I will be shaving my hair once I have raised £2000 worth of donations but I hope to make much more than this for such a worthy cause.
