Facing The World is helping to change the future for Vietnamese children by facilitating operations and supporting surgeons through global training programs, giving children with facial disfigurement a chance to thrive.

Story

Hi,

I'm Zoe and I am choosing this Facing the World because I believe that all kids should get a second chance. I have a friend who has a Craniofacial Dysmorphism but she wasn't able to afford treatment, and some children aren't. Facing the World will provide treatment surgeries for children with these conditions from some of the best pediatric craniofacial surgeons.

Craniofacial Dysmorphisms are a spontaneous genetic mutation, and affects up to 3% of the infant population today. The word craniofacial is a term used for anything involving the neck and head (cranio = meaning neck + facial = meaning head and face)

My goal is to raise £200 or more to help fund surgeries. I am doing a climbing challenge and climbing as many 50 foot walls as I can in 1 hour, and I'd like you to sponsor me.
